Davidson Hotels & Resorts has announced its official rebranding as Davidson Hospitality Group. The announcement arrives on the heels of the company’s recent launch of a new resorts division, Davidson Resorts.
“This represents yet another exciting chapter in our 47-year journey,” says John Belden, chairman and CEO of Davidson Hospitality Group. “We’ve been thoughtfully and strategically building toward this model over the past five years and felt we could provide property owners a way to leverage the scale and sophistication of the larger organization, while providing intensive, specialized skillsets within each operating division.
The rebranded company will adhere to four newly defined operating verticals. Davidson Hotels will focus on industry titans, including Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt, while Davidson Resorts will curate a portfolio of large-scale, seasonal properties equipped with ample amenities from leisure activities to thoughtful F&B facilities. Pivot, Davidson’s lifestyle sector, will continue to reflect the brand’s emphasis on catering to today’s independent, adventure-seeking travelers with authenticity and innovative amenities. Finally, Davidson Restaurant Group will roll out eateries characterized by visionary design, new technology, and high-quality cuisine.
Belden adds: “There is no other company in the industry today that purely provides such specialized services in the upper-upscale and luxury segments.”
