Best Western International has added five new Vīb branded properties to its pipeline for next year.
The forthcoming openings include the 200-room Los Angeles Vīb; the 150-room Miami Vīb, the second under development there; the 81-room Staten Island Vīb in New York; the 112-room Little Rock Vīb in Arkansas; and the 90-room Springfield Vīb in Missouri.
Since its announcement last October and its debut last April, the urban boutique brand has begun developing eight projects and is negotiating deals in several U.S. cities, such as Atlanta; Charlotte, North Carolina; Dallas; New Orleans; Scottsdale, Arizona; and San Diego.
“Since the launch of Vīb, we have had tremendous interest from hotel developers and are especially pleased with the response from developers who have not previously developed Best Western hotels,” says Ron Pohl, senior vice president of brand management. “Vīb is really gaining traction because it is the only boutique concept designed for the upper-midscale hotel segment.”
