Corinthia Hotels has announced plans for Corinthia Lake Como, a 58‑key luxury resort developed in partnership with RoundShield and Kervis SGR.
Set in the alpine village of Menaggio, the project will occupy a site adjacent to Italy’s second‑oldest golf course, introducing a fully integrated hospitality experience to one of Lake Como’s most coveted destinations.
Nature will shape Corinthia Lake Como
Nestled into the foothills of the Italian Prealps, the development combines restored heritage architecture with expansive outdoor living, creating a resort environment that feels rooted in the spirit of the local Como village.
Public areas will be distributed across three villas—housing the lobby, lounge, and golf club—that are each framed to capture views toward the mountains and the lake. Meanwhile, the hotel’s guestrooms and suites will be set into the natural contours of the land, reflecting the understated charm of Menaggio.
Lakeside amenities and brand residences
The forthcoming resort will boast a full suite of spa, wellness, and dining experiences, as well as a beach club on the lake’s western shore that offers direct waterfront access at one of the lake’s widest stretches.
The project will also feature three branded residences, expanding Corinthia’s residential offering in Italy. These homes are set to align with the resort’s design language, balancing refined materials with views of the lake and surrounding alpine landscape.
Construction is expected to begin following final planning approvals, and Corinthia Lake Como is targeted for a late 2028 opening.
