The Corinthia Hotel London, located nearby Whitehall, the Houses of Parliament, the City and Trafalgar Square, has unveiled its outdoor Garden Lounge.
Designed by locally based David Collins Studio, the lounge features a glass canopy stretched over a medley of terrarium plants arranged around columns and plinths clad in an array of gold, cream, red, terracotta and gray handcrafted mosaics by French artist Mathilde Jonquiere. One fireplace is positioned at each end of the lounge with intimate seating groupings arranged about circular tables with umbrellas intended to initiate conversation.
“A living bar, intricate mosaic art, and a new signature palette makes the Garden Lounge a wonderful outdoor space in the center of London, and gives the Corinthia Hotel a very special environment in which to socialize,” says David Collins Studio’s creative director Simon Rawlings.
Located in the heart of the hotel, the lounge’s onsite humidor is complete with more than 53 varieties of cigars, while the bar serves 62 varieties of whisky.
