Embassy Suites has completed the renovation of its San Diego Bay – Downtown location.
The $8.5 million project included revamps of the property’s atrium and lobby areas, 341 guestrooms, fitness center, meeting spaces, and corridors, in addition to updates to the building’s façade and structure. A design emphasis was placed on providing ocean, bay, and city views.
The atrium and lobby now include new flooring, lounge décor, front desk area, concierge and business center, and furniture, along with a new fountain and sculpture. The atrium skylight was replaced to provide more natural light. More than 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space was revamped with updated technology, while the gym gained new equipment, flooring, and mirrors in a top-to-bottom renovation.
Executive and presidential suites have all been contemporized with updated furniture and refurbished bathroom amenities. Dining options now include a Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins and the PFC Bar & Grill, which offers seafood and American fare.
