Hard Rock International announces Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Cancun. The upcoming all-inclusive resort will be situated along the shores of the Caribbean Sea, just a 15-minute drive from the Cancun International Airport. Set to open in late 2017, the oceanfront property will be the third Yucatan Peninsula property in the Hard Rock International portfolio and will feature 1,800 guestrooms.
“We are excited to welcome our fifth property in Mexico and build upon our collaboration with All Inclusive Collection,” said Marco Roca, executive vice president and chief development officer.
Plans call for six restaurants, ranging from French-inspired cuisine to authentic Mexican, five bars and lounges, and multiple entertainment venues throughout the expansive property. The Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Cancun includes plans for an 8 million gallon, multi-acre, lagoon-style swimming pool. Additionally, property will feature more than 90,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Cancun will appeal to both families and adult travelers alike. Family-centric experiences include a dedicated kids club, a private teen zone, and designated family pool areas, while adults will indulge in exclusive gathering spaces encompassing a nightclub, private pools with outdoor terraces, and numerous entertainment offerings.
