Hard Rock International has announced plans to open the beachfront Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife in the Canary Islands in mid-2016. The upcoming property is Hard Rock’s second project in collaboration with Palladium Hotel Group, which recently opened the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza—the brand’s first European hotel.
Set on Tenerife’s southern coast near Adeje, the resort will feature 637 rooms, including 236 suites, spread across two towers. The property will boast a variety of amenities, including three pools and access to a natural saltwater lagoon and recreation area, as well as four dining establishments, multiple outdoor terraces, and entertainment venues.
“Tenerife’s superb climate, wide variety of cultural activities, and strong accessibility for international travelers, makes it an ideal choice for the hotel brand’s global fan base,” says Josh Littman, vice president of EMEA development for hotels and casinos at Hard Rock International. “As we continue to strengthen our relationship with Palladium Hotel Group, we look forward to introducing the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife to the Canary Islands.”
