InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) Hotel Indigo brand has signed its first hotel in Colorado.
Owned by Cuof IV Lodo and franchised by an affiliate of IHG, Hotel Indigo Denver will be located in Denver’s Lower Downtown neighborhood in a 200,000-square-foot mixed-use development—co-developed by Portman Holdings and Hensel Phelps—within Union Tower West.
“We are excited to expand the Hotel Indigo brand into this incredible Downtown Denver neighborhood,” says Jason Moskal, IHG’s vice president of lifestyle brands, the Americas. “The local area around Union Station is home to many historical storefronts, warehouses, and industrial buildings that help define the neighborhood, creating the perfect location for our newest hotel. We’re looking forward to being part of this great community and opening our doors for guests to experience the area and be inspired by the service delivered by our Hotel Indigo team.”
Amenities of the 180-room property will include a fitness center, business center, bar and restaurant, and 1,950 square feet of meeting space.
The Hotel Indigo Denver is scheduled to open in 2016.
