The Jumeirah Group recently signed management agreements to operate Jumeirah Kuala Lumpur hotel and Jumeirah Living Kuala Lumpur residences in Malaysia.
To be located in the city center, the 190-room hotel and 273-suite residential complex will be situated within one of three interconnected towers in a landmark mixed-use development nearby the Petronas Twin Towers, Maxis Tower, and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The 135,000-square-foot complex will be constructed in 2016 with an expected completion date of 2021.


The Jumeirah Living Kuala Lumpur residences will take up the tower’s lower floors, while Jumeirah Kuala Lumpur hotel will occupy the upper floors. Guests will have access to four F&B outlets and a Talise wellness facility with a spa, fitness club, and pool.


The deal is the Jumeirah Group’s entry into the Malaysian market. Additional properties are slated for development in Thailand, Cambodia, and Singapore.
