Jumeirah Group will manage three new properties across China: Jumeirah Haikou Resort, Jumeirah Wuhan, and Jumeirah Nanjing.
The Jumeirah Haikou Resort is set within a golf community on a private island and is expected to open in 2018. The mixed-use development will include a golf course designed by Tom Doak, 60 residential villas, and a luxury hotel with 140 guestrooms and 26 suites. Food and beverage outlets will feature an all-day dining and Chinese specialty restaurant, lobby lounge, bar, and function space. Malaysian firm Denniston International has been appointed as project architect.
Jumeirah Wuhan, anticipated to open in 2020, will be located in the Hankou business district. The project is a mixed-use development of high-end office space, retail, residences, parks, and a luxury hotel. The hotel property, designed by Beijing-based Foster + Partners, will feature 200 guestrooms including 23 suites, an all-day dining, and Chinese specialty restaurant, lobby lounge, bar, function space, executive club lounge, and business center.
The third property, Jumeirah Nanjing, is currently under development and expected to open in 2016. The mixed-use development will comprise office and retail space, a conference center, a 4-Star hotel and a luxury Jumeirah hotel. Designed by architect Zaha Hadid, the 250-room hotel will include 32 suites, an all-day dining and Chinese specialty restaurant, café, lobby lounge, tea lounge, bar, junior ballroom, executive club lounge, business center, fitness center, Talise Spa, and an indoor swimming pool.
