Langham Hospitality Group has entered into an agreement with PJM Group & partners (PT. Pilar Prambanan Investama) to manage the Langham Place resort in Bali, Indonesia, scheduled to open in 2017.
“We are proud to be partnering with PT. Pilar Prambanan Investama to present our first luxury resort in Asia,” says Robert Warman, CEO of Langham Hospitality Group. “We have waited for the right opportunity for our debut in this region, and we believe that this Langham Place resort, with its magnificent location and Langham Hotels and Resorts’ beautiful design aesthetics, will be the epitome of luxury in the beautiful island of Bali.”
The 173-room, cliff-top resort is located in the island’s Ungasan-Uluwatu area overlooking the Indian Ocean. The well known Uluwatu temple, one of Bali’s most important cultural landmarks, is located within a half-hour drive from the property, while Ngurah Rai International Airport only 40 minutes away.
Interiors will be designed by Jakarta-based Budi Pradono Architects, with all 173 rooms, villas, and suites featuring outdoor terraces and panoramic ocean views, with private plunge pools for the 56 villas and suites.
Amenities will include a private wedding chapel for guests and local residents, a bridal room, a 4,300-square-foot outdoor event lawn, two ballrooms up to 5,300 square feet, the Chuan spa, a pool deck, outdoor playground area, and onsite F&B outlets including the Place, which offers both indoor and terrace seating; the rooftop bar; and the resort’s destination restaurant, the Beach Club.
