A second luxury hotel and branded residences from Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will open in downtown Dubai in 2020. The new hotel will be the sister property to the Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah Beach, the brand’s previously announced urban resort that is currently under construction and due to open in late 2018.
With 257 guestrooms, suites, and apartments providing clear views over the cityscape including the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, the hotel will anchor the 63-story, mixed-use building, to be known as the Wasl Tower. The 144 residences will be located on the tower’s upper floors. Other highlights will include an intimate rooftop sky bar; all-day dining venue, poolside bar, and restaurant; club lounge; cigar room; and the Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop.
The two-story spa facility will feature 12 private treatment rooms, a fitness center, and vitality pools, along with an outdoor swimming pool set within a landscaped garden terrace.
