The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane—a 30-acre precinct featuring more than 50 venues and experiences—is gradually reshaping the Australian city’s skyline, with the Star Brisbane slated to open in August.
At the center of the resort is the Star Grand, a 340-room luxury hotel comprising two arc-shaped towers overlooking the Brisbane River. The hotel exudes elegance with exquisite finishes, details, and oversized freestanding bathtubs in each of the four Skyline Penthouse Suites.
Hotel guests will have access to three pools housed on a nearly 130,000-square-foot open-air space. The deck also connects to the Star Brisbane’s Sky Deck, a rooftop strip of restaurants and bars floating 328 feet above the Brisbane River.
The Star Brisbane will include 50-plus food and beverage venues, like a 7,880-square-foot sports bar, equipped with mega LED screens, stadium-like surround sound, and VIP booths large enough to accommodate an entire NRL team. Another dining highlight will be Cherry, the Star’s signature cocktail bar, with a design that reflects the resort’s vibrant atmosphere.
The Star Brisbane will also include a sprawling sports bar, the city’s largest hotel ballroom, and a Fat Noodle restaurant by chef Luke Nguyen.
