International nightclub concept 1 OAK will introduce its first permanent outpost this month in Asia with the launch of 1 OAK Tokyo. Following the successful debut of 1 OAK Private Island at Finolhu, Maldives, the opening marks the first Japanese project managed by the Butter Group.
The design for the nightlife venue is led by artist Roy Nachum, who will punctuate the space with a variety of paintings, sculptures, and other installations. Custom fixtures, furniture, and new technology will also be appointed. Spanning three stories and 16,000 square feet, the venue will include 1 OAK’s signature black and white chevron floors, rich leather, and dramatic lighting. The club will also house several VIP areas clad with gold and silver detailed alcoves in addition to a private karaoke room and a rooftop garden terrace.
