Washington, D.C.-based architecture and design firm //3877 has teamed up with owner Danielle Vogel to bring a second iteration of Glen’s Garden Market, a specialty shop that sells locally sourced products, to Washington, D.C. Located in Shaw, a neighborhood in the northwest quadrant of the city, the shop features interactive spaces where patrons can enjoy wine and beer tastings, or grab a bite before shopping.
Led by David Tracz, the project team at //3877 infused the 3,700-square-foot market with LED lighting, reclaimed wood, white subway tile, pops of color coined Glen’s Green, and an exterior graphic of a chicken named Kevin. The space also features a garage door that opens to an outdoor patio with seating.
