The Novikov Restaurant and Bar has announced its expansion into the U.S. with the launch of a new outpost in downtown Miami later this winter. Designed by New York-based Adam D. Tihany, the Chinese-Japanese concept will mirror the glamour and energetic nature of the London flagship.
The restaurant will be Tihany’s first Miami project, who worked as design consultant to Peacock + Lewis to develop the project. The bright, inviting entrance will lead to a bar punctuated with comfortable seating. Novikov Miami will be appointed with a curated art collection and a wave-like ceiling design that will appear to undulate across the interior from the kitchen. Textured wood walls will wrap the interior, while structural columns that recall tree trunks blend in with the ceiling fixture as they ascend. In addition to the main dining room, a sushi bar, private chef’s table, and outdoor terrace overlooking Biscayne Bay will also be included.
