Locally based AvroKO and AvroKO Hospitality Group have opened GENUINE Liquorette in New York’s Little Italy neighborhood.
An underground extension of the recently opened GENUINE Superette restaurant, GENUINE Liquorette is the first bar to open among GENUINE-branded establishments, with a cheeky interior aesthetic that builds upon the space above with the feel of a Californian bodega-style liquor store.
A stairwell lined with old newspapers and vintage alcohol and tobacco advertisements leads downstairs from the Superette. A glowing neon Liquorette sign greets guests of the bar area, complete with a vast selection of more than 750 different spirits.
Black and white checkered flooring complements black lacquered and chrome-rimmed hightop tables, while the bathroom pays homage to Farrah Fawcett.
