New York-based design firm AvroKO and AvroKO Hospitality Group debuted GENUINE Superette, a restaurant serving California roadside-inspired cuisine curated by two Michelin-starred chef Paul Liebrandt, Michelin-starred chef Brad Farmerie, and Sam Mason.
GENUINE Superette is the second in the line of GENUINE eateries, preceded by GENUINE Roadside in Gotham West Market, and is located in New York’s Little Italy neighborhood. Inspired by cafés and superettes along the California coast, designers chose a traditional black and white palette accented by pink and gold-hued murals depicting mountain ranges. Light fixtures can be physically adjusted to suit day and night meals.
A bar concept is slated to open in the GENUINE Superette basement this summer.
