Luxembourg-based design firm Humbert & Poyet has completed work on the design of Beefbar Paris at the site of the former La Fermette Marbeuf eatery in the city’s 8th arrondissement. The restaurant is the eighth Beefbar location across the globe, and the fourth designed by firm partners Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet.
The restoration project retains the building’s original architecture and echoes the intricate forms and subtle color palettes of the showstopping glass ceiling. The refined brasserie concept embraces two contrasting design sensibilities with Art Nouveau elements like green tones and vibrant carpets installed alongside Art Deco moments including marble detailing, aged and faceted mirrors, lacquered walnut and brass fittings. The contemporary setting is further detailed with an industrial-style ceiling as well as black, minimalist exterior woodworks.
The concept is set to expand its footprint with forthcoming locations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Rome; Tulum, Mexico; and Luxembourg.
