Bubble tea concept 蜜葉裡 Ambrosia has unveiled a new shop in Shenzhen, China. Crafted with a modern and mindful ethos by Australian design studio Biasol, the new location for 蜜葉裡 Ambrosia—which translates to “honey leaf ambrosia”—evokes a sleek minimalism inspired by traditional Chinese courtyard houses.
A soft pink palette wraps the interior, while wooden arches and opaque glass panels frame the entrance and service counter. Totaling nearly 300 square feet, the long and narrow interior recalls the courtyards of historic siheyuan residences. Rounded corners soften the space against select timber elements and terrazzo flooring, counters, tables, and walls. Pastel tones are warmly illuminated by the bespoke pendant light fixtures, which also mirror the forms of bubbles.
