Melbourne-based design firm Biasol has unveiled its design for Sisterhood, a new restaurant on the Australian island of Tasmania. Located in the Sandy Bay suburb of island’s capital city of Hobart, the modern venue recalls the coasts of Tulum, Mexico.
Sage-colored tiles adorn the face of the bar, which is topped with emerald marble. In addition to various tones of green, palm prints and accents of burnt orange recall the dense rainforests of Tulum. Timber and rattan elements like bistro-style chairs complement the peach, the restaurant’s logo, which is fixed upon a wall as a neon light installation.
