The Dewberry hotel in Charleston, South Carolina has unveiled its newest destination: the eighth-floor Citrus Club. The tropical-themed rooftop lounge is crafted by Studio Dewberry in collaboration with Brooklyn-based firm Workstead, which also designed the hotel. The laidback concept complements the hotel’s midcentury-inspired design with neon orange slice signage and a combination of vintage furniture and custom pieces like the circular, melon-colored banquettes.
Citrus Club is attached to an intimate, indoor restaurant anchored by a terrazzo-wrapped bar and bespoke lounge seating. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls frame panoramic views while also maintaining a connection to the terrace. A citrus wall, handpainted by Emily Harris Art, accents tropical views, further promoting the lush aesthetic.
