Demoiselle by Galvin has launched in Dubai’s City Walk 2 with designs from Brighton, England-based DesignLSM. From Michelin-starred chefs Chris and Jeff Galvin, the 6,039-square-foot restaurant expands upon the brand’s flagship eatery located in Harrods department store in London. Spread across two floors, the new space houses an artisan patisserie counter, juice bar, modern tea parlor, and two intimate terraces.
Guests are welcomed via two prominent entrances, one of which leads to the bakery display, while the upper entrance leads to luxurious serving parlour Salon de Thé. The downstairs café offers a laidback yet sophisticated environment outfitted with a variety of seating including luxurious leather banquettes, upholstered dining chairs, and intimate barstools set against the open kitchen. A palette of dusty pink and mint green offer understated with aged mirror screens and herringbone oak floors. Across the ceiling, a geometric network of pendant lights and frosted glass globes highlight the bespoke finishes of the brass-trimmed marble tables.
The grand staircase provides access to the upper level, upgraded with a double-height panel mirror and a glass display cabinet that showcases an assortment of vintage tea and coffee pots. The tea parlor features a decorative ceiling clad with Victorian bird illustrations. The botanical theme is carried throughout the space from the hanging garden wall at the top of the stairs to the bespoke brass lighting elements. A palette of gold and green also spans the interior.
