Sbe has unveiled the redesign of Doheny Room, its West Hollywood restaurant and nightlife venue. Dakota Development spearheaded the refresh of the popular haunt, which now sports upgraded finishes, furnishings, and artwork.
The space is anchored by a new four-foot golden disco ball suspended above an internal two-story courtyard and surrounded by black lacquered louvered shutters. The first floor is outfitted with semi-circular booths upholstered in peacock blue velvet and set against deco-patterned teal wallpaper. Also located on the main floor, the new eight-seat Krispy Rice sushi bar showcases a 14-foot-tall lightbox backdrop featuring a vintage portrait of Raquel Welch taken by late photographer Terry O’Neill.
A moody and lush lounge is housed on the second floor, and populated by mod teal banquettes, graphic palm-print wallpaper, and provocative photography. Additional LED lighting further illuminates the perimeter of the spaces to establish an immersive sensory experience.
