Eden Hill Provisions has launched on the same Seattle corridor as its flagship, Eden Hill Restaurant. Crafted by locally based Best Practice Architecture, the versatile concept departs from the conventions of its predecessor in an effort to grow as a new neighborhood bistro, as well as the home of the weekly farmer’s market in town.
Spread across 1,600 square feet, the space is lined with repurposed wall paneling alongside salvaged wood that is upcycled into the new shelving. Walnut has also been retained to top the new bar beneath a large, abstract cloud installation composed of acoustic materials with constellation-like patterns. The enlivening color palette inside is illuminated by new fixtures, allowing for a smooth transition from day to evening service.
Large garage doors built into the north side of the dining room connect with the exterior patio when opened, which is populated with planters showcasing various herbs and florals. Adding further softness to the back of the dining room are gently-textured custom wood panels endowed with a bespoke banquette and shelving.
