Prague-based design firm Formafatal has outfitted a new location for one of the city’s most popular Mexican restaurant chains, Burrito Loco. The vibrant eatery embraces a palette of custom Mexican accents as well as traditional iconography
Corrugated sheet metal and monochrome ceramic tiles adorned with symbols of Mexican pop culture, such as cacti to paper garlands, are prominently featured throughout the interior along with Burrito Loco’s sun logo, which dresses woven pillows and windows. A feature wall in the dining room boasts a pattern of backlit cacti, and petrol blue-toned walls continue in the bathroom, along with flamingo pink tones. Sombrero light fixtures suspended from the ceiling add a dash of playfulness.
