A new Sydney eatery, Glorietta, has debuted within a transformed double-height glass box located within a new landmark tower. Crafted with an Italian flair by locally based architecture and design studio Alexander & Co, the 220-seat bar and restaurant showcases a soft narrative of agricultural nostalgia.
Glorietta warmly weaves a contemporary ethos through an earthy, organic lens. High timber tables and stools line the bar atop polished concrete floors that stretch toward recycled timber boards in the dining room. Olive-green leather banquettes are accented with rust-toned tables, as well as bentwood chairs. Wheat-colored linen curtains are installed across the interior perimeter, and a vaulted rattan “cloudscape” installation maximizes the silver ceiling panels to infuse a natural texture into the atmosphere
