New York-based design firm Jeffrey Beers International (JBI) has completed its update of the iconic 1950s eatery Silver Lining Diner in Southampton, New York. Reimagined with a classic American diner ethos bucking retro conventions, the local institution now features a refreshing and contemporary ambiance with a crisp palette of sunny yellows, warm whites and wood accents.
The spacious 270-seat restaurant comprises a series of intimate spaces differentiated with seating variations including booths and banquettes, as well as spots by the bar and horseshoe-shaped coffee counter. A communal table and a 40-seat outdoor patio are also featured across the roadside concept.
