Following an overhaul of the interior, Patina Restaurant Group has reintroduced Kendall’s Brasserie as a French bistro concept. The new speakeasy, the BoardRoom, has also been added to the restaurant’s upper floor.
The airy and energetic restaurant includes a main dining room clad with a wraparound Carrara marble bar and large windows. Refinished wood and vibrant tiled floors span the interior alongside brass accents and antique finishes. In addition to original artwork, hues of gray and antique white contrast with splashes of pale wine, mustard, green, and burgundy. Weathered tones, wood panels, and textured ironwork evoke French influences. Potted plants add warmth and energy, while industrial tables and midcentury light fixtures create a modern twist on the French brasserie.
Located on the upper level behind a velvet curtain, the BoardRoom is an intimate speakeasy that channels post-war France with sleek décor, rich sea-colored walls, and leather and velvet banquettes, conceived by Lauren Feidner, senior art and style manager at Patina Restaurant Group. Antique stained mirrors, brass sconces, and worn Persian rugs further recall Paris.
