The luxe dining scene of Washington, DC has been elevated with the addition of seafood restaurant King Street Oyster Bar. Located on the city’s M Street, the 3,700-square-foot space crafted by locally-based design practice //3877 features a traditional coastal-inspired aesthetic.
King Street Oyster Bar design details:
Pendant lighting, reminiscent of fisherman’s ropes, are suspended from King Street Oyster Bar’s 17-foot ceilings. Beneath the fixtures is a 142-seat dining room space, anchored by an open kitchen-style bar detailed with custom fish scale mosaic walls. A striking canopy hung from the ceiling reads “Oyster,” further emphasizing the eatery’s namesake. The posh and cozy venue is also attached to an outdoor terrace for warm, sunny days.
