The experimental gastronomic concept KINK is set to debut next month in the heart of the mixed-use Pfefferberg building in the Prenzlauer Berg section of Berlin. The bar and restaurant will occupy a spacious footprint within the industrial structure as it showcases contemporary artwork alongside F&B, like a custom piece by Kerim Seiler suspended above guests in the bar area.
KINK will comprise three spaces: a main room, gallery, and the sundrenched “Glashaus.” The large main room will be anchored by an open bar and kitchen conceived by locally based design studio Hidden Fortress, while sitting areas line the perimeter. The main room’s mezzanine will overlook the lower level, which will be contextualized by elaborate metalwork, handcrafted rugs, and modular sofas. Areas will be designated to function as sites for artistic or culinary workshops, while the bar, loft gallery, and private dining room can be zealously configured to accommodate programming from classical performance to DJs.
