The LINE Austin expanded its onsite amenities with the opening of P6, a new rooftop lounge that crowns the hotel’s parking garage. After partnering on the hotel, which opened last year, local architect Michael Hsu and Los Angeles-based designer Sean Knibb teamed up once again on the restaurant’s design.
Knibb drew inspiration from the region’s culture of outdoor living. A mix of communal and more intimate seating arrangements span the indoor-outdoor venue, while a wraparound terrace and an alfresco living room will serve as additional dining environments. Geometric mirrors installed on the ceiling reflect water lilies reminiscent of Monet as well as the hotel’s lakeside Texas setting. Wood, metal, and elaborate tilework are softened by inviting textiles.
