Restaurant and cocktail bar Casaplata has debuted in the heart of Seville, Spain within a raw, concrete structure. Crafted by Madrid-based studio Lucas y Hernández-Gil Design, the gray interior is offset by colorful furnishings that breathe liveliness across the restaurant.
Vaporous fittings composed of colored perforated metal channels a gastronomical sensibility, while circular elements are installed throughout in the form of lighting, mirrors, and openings to ensure uniformity in abstract references to outer space. Casaplata’s color palette reflects the paintings of Giorgio Morandi, blurring the boundaries between bright objects and the backdrop. Metal tables, chairs, and benches are dressed in tones of peach, mint, and red, while bar carts are adorned with blue hues. Warm lighting illuminates plush seating in pale pink and buttery yellow. Additional greenery instills freshness and coziness into the industrial setting as well.
