Brothers and restaurateurs David and Michael Morton have introduced MB Steak—their latest dining concept located within the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Designed in collaboration with Karen Herold of Chicago-based Studio K, the restaurant’s name stands for “My Brothers,” an homage to the their father Arnie Morton, the founder of Morton’s The Steakhouse.
A 30-foot-long tunnel guides visitors from the entryway into the seductive dining room, which spans two stories and 7,800 square feet. Rich woods and fabrics are included in the intimate, darkly lit space. Aged European white oak lines the floors and ceilings, while mirrored walls roughly painted in black frame both levels. The main floor includes a bar and private bar with emerald green chairs and custom lighting that provide a splash of color.
Upstairs, the Garden Lounge boats 14-foot-tall ceilings, and is mixed with succulents and moss cascading in from the 23-foot-tall living skylight above the bar. Oversized windows offer views of the Las Vegas Strip.
