Olio e Più has expanded its New York footprint with a new location overlooking Bryant Park.
The opening marks the Italian restaurant’s second outpost, following the original Greenwich Village location, which debuted in 2010.
Olio e Più heads to Bryant Park
Designed in-house by the Group Hospitality, the new 145-seat restaurant brings the brand’s traditional Italian dining experience to Midtown Manhattan with interiors evoke the feeling of stepping inside a welcoming countryside home.
The interior design draws heavily on rustic Italian warmth, incorporating dark wood trim and molding, extensive indoor greenery, and antique chandeliers that soften the scale of the soaring space. Floral-patterned dining chairs and hand-picked art pieces further root the trattoria in a residential sensibility.
A semi-open kitchen creates smaller, intimate pockets throughout the room, while antique wall sconces illuminate the surrounding greenery, adding further warmth to the space.
The Bryant Park location also features a 20-seat bar, along with a series of cocktail tables suited for lighter bites.
