A hospitality space inside San Diego’s Petco Park has been reimagined by local design and fabrication studio Tecture in collaboration with Gensler.
The updated Budweiser Loft, housed within the Western Metal Supply Co. Building—a registered historic landmark—celebrates the building’s industrial character while introducing an updated game-day experience.
A refreshed fan experience at Budweiser Loft
Located on the fifth level, the revamped Budweiser Loft blends raw materials and playful branded moments. Exposed ceilings, concrete floors, and custom-fabricated steel and woodwork frame the space, while a dramatic new staircase connects directly to the renovated Western Metal Rooftop.
Tucked within the loft is the new Foul Pole Suite, a luxe, semi-private retreat perched along the left field foul line. The suite includes upgraded catering facilities, private restrooms, and refined details, like a striking recycled-glass wall divider made from amber Budweiser bottles collected from the stadium that mirror the hues of the Padres brand and glint with the nearby San Diego Bay.
Nearby, the fan-favorite baseball wall—featuring 525 Padres-branded balls in a brown-and-gold color scheme—serves as an interactive photo backdrop and homage to team pride.
