Virginia’s Colonial Williamsburg Foundation has tapped San Francisco-based Puccini Group to revamp the F&B experience at nine different venues in the historic city. The makeovers are slated to begin next year.
The Williamsburg Inn and the Williamsburg Lodge are among the properties scheduled for updates. Puccini Group will infuse the restaurants at both hotels with distinctly Colonial American qualities. The Inn’s dining room will be reinterpreted with a nouveau British sensibility, emphasizing grandeur and sophistication, while the Lodge’s lounge and restaurant will be reminiscent of a traditional Southern colonial estate. The Williamsburg Inn recently reopened following an extensive renovation, and the Williamsburg Lodge will join Marriott’s Autograph Collection beginning in January.
