Designed by New York-based Rockwell Group and managed by the Hakkasan Group, the Jewel nightclub at Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas is set to open on, May 19th. The 24,000-square-foot, two-level venue features two intimate spaces—a main club, and a mezzanine level with five exclusive VIP skyboxes. In total, it can house nearly 2,000 guests.
Guests will enter through a series of tall, mirrored doors shaped to form a sleek reflective wall when closed. VIP patrons enter through a tunnel of arched bronze portals that lead to a corridor lit by an antique class chandelier.
More than 1,400 square feet of LED ribbons crown the circular dome ceiling in the main club. Wood and granite VIP banquettes, upholstered in rich burgundy leather, surround the dance floor, while the DJ booth will feature dual-sided LED video screens and effects lighting.Â
The main club bar is an interpretation of contemporary industrial design, highlighting simple materials. Crafted from granite and wood, and enclosed in a variegated herringbone pattern, the bar sits in front of an intricately designed antique wallcovering that complements the vintage parquet detailing.Â
A staircase swathed in LED screens displaying abstract and themed images will lead guests to the mezzanine level, which boasts a bar, dance floor, and VIP suites.Â
The suites, each with a distinctive design, are titled the Blind Tiger, the Studio, the G.O.A.T., the Prestige, and the Gallery. The Blind Tiger, which guests enter through a secret doorway disguised as a carved armoire, is a modern take on the speakeasy, featuring dark wood walls and plush seating. The Studio features velvet walls lined with vintage album covers and an artist commissioned mural. The G.O.A.T., also known as the Greatest of All Time, features sports memorabilia and artistic interpretations of momentous sports moments. The Gallery’s walls display curated fine art photography alongside leather seating in a deep wine hue. Finally, the Prestige is a jewel box-inspired space with champagne-hued tufted walls and seating arranged underneath a polished, brass beaded chandelier.Â
