Celebrated chef Sujan Sarkar has unveiled his newest F&B concept, ROOH Palo Alto in Silicon Valley, a modern Indian destination promoting open-fire cooking. The new outpost is the third in the brand’s portfolio and features a design by co-founder Anu Bhambri in collaboration with locally based Eaton Hall Architecture.
A pastel storefront leads guests inside the 4,300-square-foot space, with interiors crafted to recall a haveli, or historic Indian home, complete with an open courtyard anchored by mango trees. Pastel tones of pink, green, red, and teal punctuate the interiors, while a colorful mural (a signature of the brand) handpainted by local artist Amandalynn depicts a woman adorned with traditional Indian jewelry.
