Chef Kevin Sbraga, the winner from season 7 of Bravo’s Top Chef, has launched his newest restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dubbed Sbraga & Company, the eatery is situated within Unity Plaza, a riverfront complex in the city’s historic Brooklyn neighborhood.
As with the chef’s other two restaurants—Philadelphia’s new American Sbraga restaurant, launched in 2011, and the Fat Ham, which opened in 2013—contemporary interiors were conceived by Philadelphia-based Eimer Design, which crafted a rustic aesthetic that nods to the South.
An exhibition-style kitchen is integral to the space, which includes floor-to-ceiling windows, communal tables, a bar and lounge, private dining rooms, al fresco areas, and a raw bar with extra seating.
Residential-style interiors boast wood flooring, antique rugs, vintage photos of the city, and nautically inspired chandeliers, made from rope and reclaimed wood in homage to the nearby ocean.
