Seattle-based Seabourn Cruise Line has unveiled plans for its new Grand Salon venue aboard the Seabourn Encore, its newest luxury vessel.
With plans to open next December, the ship and Grand Salon will be designed by Adam D. Tihany. The main show lounge will host entertainment events and programming and feature an expansive theater. Located on Deck Six, the Grand Salon will include plush, pivoting chairs positioned near the stage in cabaret-style seating for an intimate experience. Meanwhile, sculptural panels and lineal lights will line the ceiling above. An enlarged bar pantry in the back will serve guests food and drinks.
Modern design elements will highlight the entire ship, which will be reconfigured with one additional deck and expanded public areas. It is slated to accommodate more than 600 passengers, at double occupancy, in suites that all adjoin a private veranda.
