The swanky cocktail lounge J.Bespoke has opened in the NoMad neighborhood in New York, accessible through the rear of the existing Devoción Cascara + Coffee shop. Local firm Studios GO collaborated on the design with owners Jesse and Eric Jacobs.
Upscale and chic, the interiors recall the warmth of a speakeasy without sacrificing its refined, classic Manhattan style. An exposed brick entryway welcomes guests as they enter the sexy lounge which is lined with cozy velvet chairs and banquettes. Further punctuated by distressed leather armchairs and brass accents, the concept’s deep-green walls are adorned with Art Deco-style artwork from Shimon Okshteyn alongside an abstract mural from Angel De Rosette that injects a medley of rich colors inside, while a wraparound staircase sheaths restrooms behind a geometric mirrored surface.
