La Cervecería, a new Spanish-inspired bar, has made its colorful debut in Amsterdam. Crafted by Dutch design firm Studio Modijefsky, the F&B concept is evocative of a vibrant Mediterranean canteen with its lively spirit.
The interior comprises three main areas, each distinguished in varied patterns and color palettes. Black tiling lines the ground floor with yellow and gray accents, while yellow hexagonal tiling defines the nearby bar which features wooden chessboard floors. The space is populated with high and low seating accompanying round and square tables. Yellow wooden chairs complement the same-colored textiles and leather throughout the section, which is further detailed with aged brass, Carrara marble, and vintage light fixtures in the bar area. Overlooking the kitchen and ground floor, and the mezzanine level is anchored by wood features as well, such as oak frames on background walls that offset the eatery’s many mirrors.
