The food hall, cocktail bar, and event space concept The Deco Food + Drink has debuted in Manhattan’s Garment District. Spread across 12,000 square feet, the new venue by locally based firm Carpenter + Mason.
Accommodating eight vendors, the aptly named outpost honors the city’s Art Deco roots along with its neighborhood’s emphasis on fashion and design. Geometric patterns and a bold color palette, including Pantone blue wraps up the place offset with accents of brass and white. A central, palatial bar serves as the nucleus of the interior, topped with polished marble which is surrounded by communal tables and banquettes. Additional onsite concepts include the French café Mademoiselle by Maman, the contemporary Chinese eatery Little Tong Nooble Shop, and Nansense, a rotating kiosk pop-up.
