Santa Ana, California-based studio Kenneth Ussenko Designs has unveiled the new Drum Room lounge at the Morongo Casino in Cabazon, California.
“The interior design, custom furniture, and lighting of the new Drum Room celebrates the fabled iconic spirit of drums and the elegance of this ancient tribal commodity,” Ussenko says.
More than a dozen large chandeliers form a canopy over the main room, gently illuminating rich walnut accents on the walls and columns as well as the backbar centerpiece. An ambient glow is infused through vibrant red agate gemstone slabs across the cladded columns and beneath the bar die, while custom seating and tables fill the main room atop patterned floors, and the space’s namesake drums are showcased along the walls and serve as the highlight of the bar.
