The Envoy Hotel in the Seaport District of Boston will introduce its redesigned rooftop venue later this month following a $4 million expansion and renovation by Philadelphia-based Stokes Architecture. Totaling nearly 2,500 square feet, the Lookout Rooftop will increase the capacity to 390 guests. The expansive space will include a new Harbor Lounge, an intimate seating area appointed with plush furniture, and harbor views.
Sophisticated yet relaxed, the Lookout Rooftop will be punctuated with greenery to soften the hard surfaces of the roof. A refined palette will feature muted and natural tones influenced by the nautical themes of the hotel interiors (designed by Group One Partners and Stantec). The flexible setting will feature communal seating near the main bar, as well as additional private or VIP spaces. The revamped rooftop will also host wellness programming as part of the property’s local partnerships.
