The Curtain Hotel and Members Club in London’s Shoreditch neighborhood has welcomed the Green Room. Located in the lobby, the bar concept is crafted by Ellie Horwell, who repurposed the former taqueria space into a posh venue appointed with velvet banquettes and gilded mirrors.
Luxe details juxtapose industrial elements, including polished concrete and a bar clad with emerald green tiles in homage to local pubs. A background of playful peacock tones is expressed through velvet furnishings and a wall of graffiti murals from artist Xenz. Greenery also complements the colorful, upscale aesthetic.
