Denver-based Sage Restaurant Group has introduced its latest concept, Torali Italian – Steak, at the Ritz-Carlton, Chicago. The new Italian eatery features an atmosphere crafted by San Francisco-based interior design practice BAMO that pays homage to Italian modernism.
The design incorporates oversized plush booths, fine Italian leather, and ornate white Italian marble throughout the dining room. Light woods, blue upholstery, and custom brass and globe lighting installations tie the space together for a clean aesthetic.
Torali bar is equipped with 19-foot-long walnut fins that recall the waves of Lake Michigan. The space also includes a copper-clad, white Italian-topped bar. The all-day concept, the Café, is covered in marble, mosaic floors, and curved floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. Crowning the restaurant is the modern rooftop bar and lounge Rooftop at Torali.
