25hours Hotel Wien beim MuseumsQuartier in Vienna has introduced its new food concept, Ribelli. Designed by the long-term collaborator of the brand, studio Dreimeta, the whimsical restaurant conveys a tongue-in-cheek, subtle attitude that rethinks the conventions of a dining space.
Adorned with a color palette based on the Tricolore, the counters of the eatery feature pink terrazzos to further perpetuate this theme, while also accenting the striking pizza oven. A more restrained colorway wraps the interior, expressed through elements like a wall design of handcrafted tiles referencing the traditional crafts. A custom mural by Olaf Hajek– who also crafted wallpaper patterns of the hotel’s guestrooms- stretches more than 25 feet across the dining room wall with an avant-garde reinterpretation of the Da Vinci’s Last Supper.
