Restaurant industry veteran Rahmi Massarweh, who left the business several years ago, has returned to cooking, albeit not for human consumption. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that his newly opened restaurant Dogue caters exclusively to canine clientele. Channeling his creativity into dog-friendly entrées, Massarweh developed a restaurant featuring Insta-ready treats behind a glass display case (one rose-shaped petit gâteau contains wild venison heart) and serves “doguccinos.” On Sundays, the spot transforms into Bone Appetit Cafe, serving a $75 tasting menu for hungry pups with dog-friendly ingredients like chicken-mushroom “soup” and filet mignon tartare.

On September 17th, 22-year-old Mahsa Amini died in the custody of Iran’s “morality police,” after being detained for not wearing her hijab “correctly.” Since her death, protestors have taken to the streets in support of Amini, cutting their hair and burning or removing their veils. Protests are ongoing—despite the government of Iran has since shut down the internet to quell organizing—and it is estimated that more than 100 people have been killed so far. To show solidarity for Iranian women and to further amplify awareness for the cause, artists from around the world have created graphics and shared them on Instagram, showcased in a roundup on Dezeen.
American Airlines hotel Skyview 6 opening in 2023
American Airlines is entering the hotel business. Skyview 6, a 600-room hotel set to open in 2023, will mark the brand’s foray into hospitality. The catch? The public can’t book a room there. Though the building is reserved for employees visiting its Fort Worth, Texas campus, the building is replete with amenities rivaling public hotels. According to The Points Guy, every floor of the hotel offers a communal lounge area for pilots or flight attendants to study or relax. A 73,000-square-foot fitness center complete with pool, basketball, tennis, pickleball, and volleyball courts creates a multitude of fitness options, and to refresh, visitors can hit the Tavern restaurant for drinks or light bites.

A recent article from Architectural Digest reveals the automobile-inspired interiors with hexagonal patterns, racing seats, and V-12 power. The ultra-limited-edition boat starts at a base price of $3.5 million, which only increases from there with custom colors and trims available.
